Trade Services Officer at Rand Merchant Bank

To be responsible for the end-to-end processing of Trade Service products which includes Documentary Letters of Credit, Guarantees/Standby Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections. 
To ensure that due diligence for compliance related matters is adhered to.

• Assist corporate clients with trade finance products and services, ensuring smooth transaction execution.
• Use trade finance platforms to process and monitor transactions.
• Review, process, and monitor trade finance transactions, and other trade-related instruments.
• Ensure all trade transactions adhere to relevant international and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Handle and manage all necessary trade documentation, letters of Credit, Guarantees/Standby Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections and other related paperwork.
• Evaluate the risks associated with trade finance transactions and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation measures are in place.
• Interact with clients, provide support, and address queries related to trade finance transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on trade transactions and related activities.
• Work closely with other departments, such as operations, risk, and compliance, to ensure smooth and efficient trade operations.
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
• Focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across the FRG
