Job Responsibilities
Develop high-quality video content for Pulse Nigeria's social media platforms.
Create engaging captions, headlines, and descriptions that drive audience interaction.
Conduct research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and topics.
Create video content that resonate to the Pulse Nigeria audience to maximize engagement and reach
Monitor interactions on the Pulse Nigeria page to create timely content in a professional manner
Track and analyze engagement metrics (e.g., likes, comments, shares, etc.) to measure content performance.
Provide regular reporting on content and social media performance.
Use data to inform future content and social media strategies.
Become an advocate for the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategies and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics.
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business - Report notable threats to appropriate management.
Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns.
Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results.
Collaborate with other teams: Editorial, Video, and Sales teams to achieve company wide goals.
Manage Social Media campaigns and day-to-day activities in line with KPIs including:
Content Creation: Brainstorm, shoot, edit, and publish TikTok videos that are fun, engaging, and on-brand.
Trend Spotting: Monitor TikTok trends, challenges, sounds, and hashtags to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Community Engagement: Reply to comments, engage with other creators, and participate in TikTok conversations to grow our presence.
Performance Tracking: Monitor video performance using TikTok analytics and provide simple reports with insights and recommendations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the social media and creative teams to align TikTok content with overall campaigns and brand goals.
Experimentation: Test new content formats, posting times, and styles to find what works best for our audience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management.
Understanding of Social Media Strategy
Content editing, and basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Capcut)
Understanding of major social media platforms (e.g, Instagram, TikTok)

Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social).
