Key Responsibilities:

Safe Transportation:

• Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and other road users.

Timely Deliveries:

• Execute scheduled deliveries or pick-ups promptly and within the specified time frames.
• Plan routes efficiently to optimize delivery times.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with the appropriate personnel for repairs.

Customer Service:

• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries or pick-ups.
• Ensure a positive and courteous experience for customers.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Complete required documentation, such as delivery receipts and logbooks.

Compliance:

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Participate in training programs as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid drivers license appropriate for the vehicle(s) to be operated.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or delivery capacity.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and routes in the area of operation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads, as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and moving packages, boxes, or goods as necessary.
