    Technical Supervisor (Production Machine Maintenance)

    Our client is a reputable manufacturing company in Nigeria. With Head Office in Lagos and factory in Ogun State, the company manufactures a range of Injection Molding Plastic Products, Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Products, Thermoform and Paper Food packages and other related products in various sizes. Its performance and increasing growth over the years have been quite remarkable and this can be attributed to the excellent and outstanding services it provides to its numerous esteemed customers and the strong ability to respond promptly to their various needs at any time. The Company’s vision is to be the first choice for excellent products in its field of production backed up with marketing services of value. To support the achievement of this vision, the Company is now seeking to recruit a Technical Supervisor (Production Machine Maintenance).

    Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure the maintenance of all machines in the factory. You will check, repair and service machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures. You will ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably. Your  work typically involves:

    • planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
    • responding to breakdowns
    • diagnosing faults
    • repairing equipment
    • supervising engineering and technical staff
    • obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
    • managing budgets
    • maintaining statistical and financial records
    • ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
    • creating maintenance procedures
    • managing stocks of supplies and equipment.

    Education, Experience and Skills/Abilities

    • A University Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering
    • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in injection machines
    • An ability to work well under pressure
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Relevant technical knowledge
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Efficiency and organisation
    • Teamworking skills
