    Technical Sales Personnel

    Industry: Energy

    Our client, a leading business and technology service firm in the Energy industry is seeking to fill the role of a Technical Sales Personnel to join their sales team.

    The ideal role holder will be responsible to formulate and develop sales strategies, inform potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports. The role holder will also be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities through customer referrals.

    The candidate should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The candidate should be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the possess the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

    Job Description:

    • Set and manage Sales goals
    • Explain complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable
    • Compile proposals and reports related to technical products
    • Ensure that sales target are consistently met
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
    • Inform product developers of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs
    • Find new clients and create a sales relationship
    • Provide professional after-sales support
    • Learn new product and services features and benefits
    • Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
    • Follow up on instructions and support the sales unit activities when requested by the CMO
    • Create detailed Sales and business plan
    • Issue periodic marketing write ups and mail shots
    • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction

    Person Specification:

    • Degree in Information Technology,  Marketing, Business or related fields
    • Minimum of 5 years of sales or marketing experience in Corporate Sales Account Management with at  least 3 years’ experience in selling IT solutions
    • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Ability to identify and follow up on leads
    • Proficient  knowledge in MS office packages ( Excel, Word)
    • Marketing professional qualification is an added advantage
    • Excellent presentation skills and  a professional appearance
