    Technical Sales Manager

    What You’ll Do

    Business Development & Sales Leadership

    • Lead the identification, development, and conversion of new business opportunities across the oil and gas value chain.
    • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
    • Provide leadership on major tenders, including RFQs, RFPs, ITTs, and contract negotiations.
    • Prepare and deliver high-impact proposals, executive presentations, and technical pitches.
    • Drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue performance.

    Client Relationship & Account Management

    • Own and manage strategic client accounts, including IOCs, NOCs, and key service companies.
    • Build long-term, high-value partnerships that expand service scope and revenue.
    • Serve as the senior technical and commercial interface for key clients.
    • Resolve escalated client issues while maintaining high satisfaction and trust levels.

    Market & Technical Leadership

    • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to guide strategy.
    • Leverage strong industry and regulatory relationships (e.g., NAPIMS, NCDMB, NIPEX, DPR, PETAN) to gain early visibility into opportunities.
    • Provide actionable market intelligence to support management decision-making.

    Reporting, Governance & Compliance

    • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and pipeline updates.
    • Track live contracts and purchase orders, ensuring alignment with agreed terms and timelines.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and HSE standards.

    Requirements

    What We Are Looking For

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum, Geosciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., ISM, CIM) is an added advantage.

    Experience

    • 7–10 years proven experience in technical sales or business development within the oil and gas sector.
    • Strong track record of securing contracts, managing strategic accounts, and achieving revenue targets.
    • Extensive experience leading tenders, bid preparation, and contract negotiations.
    • Established industry network across IOCs, NOCs, service companies, and regulators.

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Strong understanding of the oil and gas value chain (upstream, midstream, downstream).
    • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and deal-closure skills.
    • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into compelling business value propositions.
    • Strong business writing, proposal development, and executive presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM platforms.
