This role blends technical expertise with sales skills to promote engineering software and services. You'll support the sales process by providing tailored solutions, product demos, and technical insights to meet client needs in design.
Job Responsibilities
Engage clients to understand technical needs and propose customized product or service solutions.
Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to develop technical proposals, bids, and client presentations
Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and provide pre- and post-sales technical support.
Generate and manage leads, negotiate contracts, and oversee the full sales cycle from inquiry to delivery of our software.
Maintain deep knowledge of company products, industry trends, and client requirements to support innovation and continuous improvement.
Prepare tender documents and participate in tendering processes for new business opportunities
Track sales performance and client interactions using CRM tools to support strategic planning.
Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and professional forums.
Train internal sales teams on product features and technical selling points of the company.
Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial contact, secure and renew orders, negotiate prices, complete sales, and arrange deliveries.
Research, develop, and modify products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
Help customers who have problems with installed products and recommend improved or upgraded versions.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
You have at least two to five years of work experience
Must have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Civil or relevant field,
3–5 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering, ideally within the construction, engineering, or industrial services sectors.
Strong technical foundation with proven ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in engineering and design software and other CAD tools; experience in software sales is a plus.
Skilled in CRM tools for sales tracking and client relationship management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a strong business sense and marketing acumen.
Effective at working both independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational and leadership skills to manage sales territories and client accounts.
Confident and persuasive with a results-driven approach to meeting sales goals and customer needs.
