Job Description

• Manage all approved contractors, agents, partners and leads attached to the operations assignments.
• Manage all technical / operations assignment relating to exhibitions and event venues.
• Design the Floorplan of exhibition venues.
• Manage physical and virtual allocation of space at all exhibitions
• Supervise construction of booth during exhibitions
• Provide regular report on allocation of space to the marketing team and the Directorate
• Suggest and recommend technical requirements / Expectation for all projects
• Oversee plans and direct schedules or tasks assigned to technical support staff
• Manage and provide directions to contractors and vendors especially during the LITF
• Provide support in the engagement of technical contractors, agents, auxiliaries and artisans whenever the need arises
• Manage operations budget as assigned for specific projects
• Manage the inventory and ensure proper and safe keeping of infrastructural properties.
• Keep records of technical / operational contractors and update the records periodically
• Secretariat duties to Security, Building or any other Technical Committees of the organization.
• Perform any other official duty as assigned by the Director

Job Requirements/Competencies

• Bachelor of Science Degrees (BSc. Architecture, Building Engineering, Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering)
• Technical Manager must possess at least 8 years experience in architectural design
• Efficient with the use of 3Ds design, managing multiple purpose buildings, ability to use all micro soft offices perfectly and managing projects of different sizes and nature.
• A candidate for any of these positions must have an ability to prioritize tasks completing multiple tasks in a timely manner, be flexible and welcoming to change, have an ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision, and be self-motivated.
• He or she must also be a prompt decision maker, be a strategic and creative thinker, have excellent problem-solving skills, have a positive and easy-going attitude.
• He or she should be able to demonstrate strong work ethics and integrity, and demonstrate calmness and composure in times of uncertainty.
