We are looking for a highly analytical and solution-driven Technical Business Analyst to join Data2Bots. This role sits at the intersection of business needs and technical execution, translating complex business requirements into scalable, well-defined technical solutions. This role requires someone who can think both strategically and technically while understanding business problems, structuring them clearly, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient implementation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with ERP systems, customizable software solutions, and data-driven technologies including AI and BI. You will work across multiple industries such as oil & gas, retail, and other enterprise sectors, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, document, and deliver solutions that drive business value.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analysis, or a related field
4–8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst role
Strong experience with ERP systems and customizable software platforms
Exposure to AI, Business Intelligence, or data analytics environments
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and documentation
Experience working across multiple industries (e.g., oil & gas, retail, fintech, etc.) is highly desirable
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira) and process modeling tools
Solid data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and structure complex datasets
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Must have completed NYSC
Based in Abuja and available for hybrid work
Key Responsibilities
Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across multiple projects
Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and solution designs
Work closely with software engineers, product teams, and architects to ensure alignment between requirements and system capabilities
Support the design and implementation of AI and BI solutions, ERP solutions and customizable enterprise applications
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and scalability
Develop process workflows, system diagrams, and data flow models to support solution design
Contribute to AI/BI-driven initiatives by defining data requirements and supporting analytics use cases
Facilitate requirement validation sessions, sprint planning, and solution walkthroughs
Ensure proper documentation of system requirements, changes, and implementation processes
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
Support testing activities (UAT, system testing) to ensure solutions meet business expectations
Continuously gather feedback and refine solutions based on evolving business needs
