QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
• Experienced NCE, Bed or BA/BSc degree plus a postgraduate diploma in education (PGDE) or its equivalent.
• Possession of relevant trainings and certification such as Jolly Phonics, Montessori, EYFS will be an added advantage.
• TRCN certification is an added advantage. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Must be passionate about the job with an ability to reach out to students and pupils and create a relationship of mutual trust. 
• Computer literacy and evidence of the use of ICT to support literacy. 
• Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and how to address the needs of pupils based on their learning styles. 
• Good listening skills. 
• Communication skills. 
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong moral values, integrity, character and discipline.
