    Tax Director

    Job Responsibilities

    • Deliver the full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within a timeframe.
    • Develop tax solutions, strategies and advisory services for our numerous clients.
    • Assist with the expansion of business development to increase our client base
    • Provide high-quality tax advice to clients on a range of tax issues by using the appropriate research techniques and skills.
    • Work closely with the Tax Partners in major engagements.
    • Play a key role in all aspects of client engagements, involving regular client communication and participation in presentations and meetings alongside the unit Partners
    • Identify and understand clients’ needs, suggest potential solutions on technical matters, communicate and agree client needs and potential solutions with Partners.
    • Manage multiple engagements, oversee engagement status, and ensure maintenance of milestones of all projects
    • Manage profitability of projects, evaluate strategy for growth of the Firm
    • Engage in complex transfer pricing projects
    • Make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas.
    • Establish/maintain excellent long-term working relationships with clients through quality service, open communication and timeliness.
    • Provides leadership, mentorship, and career guidance for the professional development and motivation of team members.
    • Ability to travel based on client and business demands.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Fellow of a relevant professional body is a must (FCA, FCCA, etc.)
    • 8 - 12 years tax experience in a professional services firm (experience in a managerial role will be an advantage)
    • Depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations (this include international tax laws)
    • Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends
    • Strong problem-solving, logic and reasoning capabilities
    • An energetic and proactive attitude
    • Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex tax issues clearly and concisely to clients and team members
    • Knowledge of MS Office.
