• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our tax advisory and compliance team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing tax returns, researching tax laws, supporting client engagements, and ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities (e.g., VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE).
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of all statutory filings.
• Maintain and organize tax records and documentation in accordance with firm standards.

Advisory & Research

• Assist in conducting research on various tax matters including transfer pricing, tax planning, and regulatory updates.
• Support tax planning initiatives and identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Stay updated with local tax laws, regulations, and practices.

Client Engagement Support

• Assist in responding to client inquiries regarding tax issues and notices from tax authorities.
• Support client meetings by preparing necessary reports, calculations, or tax schedules.
• Ensure high standards of client service and confidentiality.

Audit & Reconciliation

• Assist with tax audit processes and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Reconcile tax-related accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for tax inspections or reviews.
