Tax Associate at Secom Limited

Salary: ₦180,000 – ₦200,000 (Net)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an audit or accounting firm, strong knowledge of tax preparation, compliance, and advisory services. You will be responsible for preparing tax filings, ensuring client compliance, assisting with audits, and providing proactive tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Review financial statements, income, and expenditure records for accuracy.
• Conduct tax research and support tax audits.
• Advise clients on tax planning, employee benefits, compensation structures, and accounting systems.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client tax records.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent client support.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory tax requirements.

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in an audit or accounting firm.
• Proven experience in tax preparation, planning, and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in tax software and accounting applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• ICAN certification or ICAN-in-view is an advantage.
