Task Manager / Civil Engineer at FoliXx Hospitality

Job description

• We are looking for a highly skilled Task Manager/Civil Engineer to work closely with our Managing Director to oversee and execute projects from start to finish.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of civil engineering projects.
• This includes managing site activities, ensuring project timelines are met, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring cost-effective execution.
• The candidate must be proactive, smart, and agile, with a strong ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Managing Director to plan and execute construction projects, primarily in housing and civil works.
• Oversee and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Supervise on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and review project reports, technical drawings, and documentation.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on-site.
• Monitor material usage, procurement, and project expenditures.
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience managing civil engineering projects from start to finish.
• Must have relevant professional certifications and licenses.
• Proven experience in housing construction and other civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and project management principles.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute tasks efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Must be smart, proactive, and agile with the ability to work independently.
• Must not be older than 45 years.
