Job Overview

• The Systems Administrator Officer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
• The role ensures system reliability, security, and performance across servers, networks, and enterprise applications.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in system administration, networking, and IT support, ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime for critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and enterprise systems
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
• Implement security measures, perform system updates, and patch management
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and incidents
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
• Support IT projects, migrations, and system upgrades
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and business teams to optimize infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, Azure Administrator, CompTIA Server+) are an advantage.

Technical Competencies:

• Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Office 365 Support
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, switches
• Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) are an advantage.
