The Swimming Instructor provides high-quality swim training and aqua-aerobic classes for clients of all ages, ensuring safety, correct technique and confidence building.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct swimming lessons and aqua fitness sessions.
Assess participants’ swim level and design appropriate training plans.
Enforce pool safety rules to prevent accidents.
Inspect pool area before and after classes for cleanliness and hazards.
Maintain pool equipment and ensure proper storage.
Record incidents and report safety concerns to management.
Perform basic cleaning tasks such as mopping deck, removing trash, etc.
Administer First Aid/CPR during emergencies.
Uphold sanitation and facility hygiene standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as a Swimming Instructor.
Strong swimming skills across all major strokes.
Ability to teach varying age groups and skill levels.
Excellent communication and motivational skills.
CPR/First Aid certified.
Flexible to work shifts/weekends.
Sports Science or swim-related training is an advantage.
