    Supply Chain Manager

    Job Overview

    • The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier management functions for oil and gas operations.
    • The primary goal is to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment in accordance with client specifications, quality standards, and safety compliance.
    • This role requires a commercially minded supply chain leader who combines strategic thinking with operational execution to build high-performing supplier partnerships and drive continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organisational business objectives.
    • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQ issuance, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase order placement, and contract administration.
    • Build and manage strategic relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
    • Direct international sourcing, importation, customs clearance, shipping, and local logistics operations.
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules and customer commitments.
    • Negotiate commercial terms to optimise cost, quality, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
    • Establish supplier performance measurement frameworks and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, NCDMB Local Content requirements, procurement regulations, and corporate governance standards.
    • Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to support tender submissions and project execution.
    • Identify supply chain risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
    • Lead, mentor, and coach the supply chain team to foster high performance.

     Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
    • A master's degree or MBA is considered an advantage.
    • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, APICS/ASCM, or equivalent is desirable.
    • Minimum of 10 years of continuous experience in supply chain or procurement.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position within upstream oilfield services.
    • Demonstrated experience managing international procurement and complex logistics.
    • Proven experience supporting major EPC, IOC, or oilfield service projects.

    Technical Competencies:

    • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP
