The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing and reviewing structural components of buildings and infrastructure to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with engineering standards.
Job Details
Review existing drawings and check conformity to design standards.
Prepare working drawings using Revit/Robot structural software.
Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Prepare structural designs, calculations, and analysis for building and infrastructure projects.
Use engineering software (e.g., Revit and Robot, AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro. SAP2000) to help with modeling, calculations, and layout development.
Assist with preparing technical reports, calculation sheets, and supporting documents for internal review or regulatory submissions.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, MSE will be an added advantage
Minimum of four (4) - five (5) years progressive work experience in structural design or engineering
Knowledge of engineering designs codes and standards.
Proficiency in the use of structural design software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD Pro, Revit, Robo,SAP2000,AutoCAD) and others for modeling and analyzing structures.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking.
Strong understanding of construction materials (steel, concrete, timber, etc.,) and their properties, as well as construction processes and methods.
Understanding of Safety and Regulatory Compliance.
