Structural Engineer (Subsea & Pipelines) at U-Connect Human Resources Consulting

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

• Responsible for structural analysis, design, verification, and integrity assessment of subsea structures, pipeline supports, foundations, protection structures, and associated offshore infrastructure.

JKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform and review structural calculations, analysis reports, and engineering drawings.
• Support the design of subsea foundations, pipeline supports, protection structures, and tie-in structures.
• Assess structural strength, stability, fatigue, and environmental loading.
• Evaluate structural interfaces with subsea equipment, pipelines, and installation systems.
• Review fabrication drawings, material specifications, and contractor deliverables.
• Support installation engineering, constructability reviews, and offshore execution.
• Identify and resolve structural integrity and design issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable DNV, API, ISO, and project-specific standards.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably in subsea, offshore structures, or pipeline projects
• Experience in structural analysis, steel design, fatigue assessment, and offshore structural engineering
• Knowledge of subsea foundations, pipeline supports, and structural protection systems
• Familiarity with applicable structural analysis software and industry codes
• Strong technical reporting and problem-solving skills

JOB QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably in subsea, offshore structures, or pipeline projects.
• Experience in structural analysis, steel design, fatigue assessment, and offshore structural engineering.
• Knowledge of subsea foundations, pipeline supports, and structural protection systems.
• Familiarity with applicable structural analysis software and industry codes.
