We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, performing structural analysis, and ensuring compliance with safety standards within the fabrication industry.
Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our production and fabrication teams.
Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Perform structural weight calculations and material take-off (MTO).
Conduct structural analysis and simulation using CAD/CAE software.
Support production and fabrication teams with technical drawings.
Verify structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
Prepare reports, design reviews, and technical documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Must have a minimum of 5 years in structural design in the fabrication industry.
Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in conducting structural analysis and simulations using relevant CAD/CAE software.
Experience in preparing technical documentation, including reports and design reviews.
Understanding and ability to verify structural integrity against safety standards.
