Structural Engineer at Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH)

Candidate Personality:

• We are looking for a qualified and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate would provide support to the Engineering and Construction department.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Shall develop structural designs for various structures and facilities such as buildings, platforms and pipelines, and ensure that they are safe and complaint with industry codes and regulations.
• Shall create detailed engineering drawings, plans and specifications using relevant software and considering industry standards and regulations.
• Shall perform structural analysis to ensure components can withstand environmental factors (e.g wind, waves, seismic activity)
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies for proposal structural designs.
• Shall ensure compliance with industry – specific codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g. API standards, ASCE codes).
• Shall collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, geotechnical engineers.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, calculations, and technical documentation detailing structural analysis, design rationale, and recommendations, and communicate findings, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, exploring innovative materials, construction methods, and technologies to enhance structural efficiency and performance.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or structural Engineering.
• Proficiency in engineering software for design and analysis (e.g, AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, Prota Structure), strong mathematical skills, knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• At least 5 Years of working experience as a structural engineer.
• Must understand basic science and engineering principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Accurate bio-data information and two or more referee information on CV.
