    Strategy Lead

    SCOPE OF WORK

    As a Lead Strategist, you are responsible for developing and executing brand, product, marketing and communication plans that align with clients overall business strategies. You work closely with designers, copywriters, account managers, and other members of the Strategy, Creative and Marketing teams to develop compelling concepts and experiences that resonate with their target audience.

    As a Lead Strategist, you must be able to think creatively while also being able to manage multiple projects at once. You need to be able to juggle competing demands from different departments within an organization while still delivering on time and on budget.

    As a Lead Strategist, you combine the creative intuition of a marketer with the critical thinking of an analyst. The Lead Strategist at Beyond The Visual focuses on improving the internal and external projects and products, guiding the Strategy team to achieve the business’ overall technology and marketing plans

    The Lead Strategist has the opportunity to grow at Beyond The Visual or within the groups' subsidiaries as a Strategy Director in a short while, with improved remuneration packages as well as perks and benefits within the group/company.

    JOB DESCRIPTION - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Able to combine analytical and creative elements, using specific data to devise a short- or long-term strategy to position the brand and build market share.

    • Able to deliver well ideas and concepts that set our clients apart from competitors, creating a strong position for market growth and recognition across various media channels.

    • Conduct research on clients’ current marketing strategies, customer profile, and market share to develop a strong sense of strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve brand positioning.

    • Conduct high-level research related to a client’s competitors, examining current marketing and branding trends within the client’s industry.

    • Successfully collaborate with creative teams that can include web and graphic designers, copywriters, and video production crews, directing, overseeing, and signing off on creative elements to ensure that materials adhere to client guidelines and are in line with the current brand strategy.

    • Shape primary research such as focus groups, customer segmentation, panels, or social listening as well as conducting secondary research to uncover insights that will shape business changing strategies

    • Leverage the full range of marketing research tools and methodologies to derive unique insights that lead to B2B strategies that go above and beyond the expected

    • Create communication frameworks and/or brand architectures to clearly define approaches to tackle business problems and inspire innovative solutions

    • Develop fully integrated B2B experiences working with the wider multidisciplinary team playing a key role in managing such cross-functional projects from initiation to implementation

    • Create content strategies that are led by research and insight and push B2B further than the standard content available taking the lead from strategy to implementation and evaluation

    • Lead the development of creative briefs and briefing sessions and then nurture the ideas developed to ensure they deliver on brief and strategy

    • Present your findings, concepts, and progress to clients, working closely with the clients and internal team to fine-tune messaging throughout the process.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience and interest in conducting market and industry research using both quantitative and qualitative research methods

    • Experience developing marketing strategies based on market segmentation

    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills

    • Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities and challenges

    • You have exceptional brand communication strategic capabilities and are able to deliver concise and powerful strategies.
