Job Overview

• The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking all stock items to ensure smooth kitchen and restaurant operations with minimal waste and zero stock-outs.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all goods delivered to ensure quality and correct quantities.
• Properly store items according to safety, hygiene, and storage standards (FIFO, temperature control, etc.).
• Issue stock to kitchen and service teams based on approved requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records and reports needed for inventory.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely usage of items.
• Report shortages, damages, or variances to management immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store at all times.
• Support audits and stock verification exercise.
