Job Summary

• The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, documentation, and issuance of goods in the warehouse.
• The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage of products, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Record all incoming and outgoing stock accurately in the inventory system or stock register.
• Ensure goods are properly arranged, labelled, and stored for easy identification and retrieval.
• Issue goods only upon receipt of approved requisitions or authorized instructions.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock, damaged goods, expired products, or discrepancies.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work with spreadsheets or inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and record-keeping abilities.
