Store Officer at Rainbow Educational Services Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock items.
• Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods and supplies.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations to ensure accuracy between physical stock and records.
• Implement and maintain proper inventory control systems to prevent losses, pilferage, and wastage.
• Ensure that all store items are properly labeled, arranged, and stored in line with best practices.
• Prepare and submit periodic stock reports to management.
• Liaise with the Procurement Unit to ensure timely replenishment of stock and adequate inventory levels.
• Support budget planning and cost control by monitoring consumption trends.
• Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards within the store.
• Participate in annual stock audits and provide documentation as required.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors and ensure quality compliance for all supplied goods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in store or inventory management.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and stock management software.
• Excellent numerical, record-keeping, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
