    Store Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Store Officer will be responsible for managing raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and finished goods in the store.
    • The role requires accurate inventory control, proper documentation, and coordination with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, and properly record all incoming materials (raw materials, spare parts, tools, and consumables).
    • Issue materials to production and other departments based on approved requisitions.
    • Maintain accurate stock records using inventory systems and manual stock cards.
    • Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder reports to prevent shortages or overstocking.
    • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of iron, steel products, and heavy materials.
    • Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, and monthly) and reconcile variances.
    • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store in line with HSE standards.
    • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
    • Prepare inventory reports and submit them to management as required.
    • Prevent loss, damage, or theft of materials within the store.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2–5 years experience as a Store Officer or Storekeeper in a manufacturing company, preferably iron and steel or heavy industry.
