    Stock Reconciliation Officer

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Stock Reconciliation Officer to join our Supply Chain Finance team.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy between physical inventory and financial records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting effective inventory control across operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform regular stock reconciliation between physical inventory and system records.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock balances, including variances in warehouse and store records.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements, adjustments, and reconciliations.
    • Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and finance teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Monitor stock levels and support inventory control processes to minimize losses and shrinkage.
    • Prepare and present reconciliation reports, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
    • Support periodic stock counts, audits, and cycle counts.
    • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

    Requirements

    • 3–5 years of experience in stock reconciliation, inventory control, or supply chain finance.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems (ERP experience is an advantage).
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good understanding of inventory accounting principles.
    • Strong communication and reporting skills.
