    State Team Lead

    Location: ABJ, PHC, and Jos 

    Job Summary:
    We are looking for Sales Leads who will recruit and coordinate sales agent’s activities and maximize performance across the state in order to meet sales targets. You are required to possess   the ability to manage a team of sales personnels, who will market and sell items found on Merchbuy to merchants. Prior experience in recruitment and sales of FMCG products is a must for this role.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Identify, recruit and train Sales Personnel
    • Build a trusted and prosperous field Sales agent channel
    • Reach recruitment, activation and revenue target
    • Managing sales by developing a business plan that covers sales and revenue of over 100M
    • Month on Month sales growth, sales comparison and analysis
    • Meeting planned sales targets/goals
    • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team
    • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
    • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
    • Carrying out market surveys, understanding competition and coordinating with Agent hunters on leads.
    • The ongoing training of your salespeople.
    • Developing your sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.
    • Promoting the organization and products to end users
    • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
    • Ensuring the gap between demand and supply is met
    • Preparing monthly reports.
    • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

    Job Requirement 

    • 3 years of sales management experience, managing sales leaders 
    • Capable of leading a team towards a set goal
    • Bachelor’s degree in business studies/administration/management or equivalent
    • Results-orientated and ability to pay close attention to details
    • Street smart and with a drive for sales
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
    • Evidence of successfully leading others to exceed measurable sales and revenue targets.

    • Driven, independent thinker and leader who can juggle multiple projects simultaneously with fast-changing priorities

    • Flexibility to roll up your sleeves and attack problems and projects as they arise, where you will need to set out a clear structure, method and outcomes yourself.
