    Special Risk Underwriting Officer

    • The ideal candidate for this role should be a highly specialized risk analyst with a strong commercial mindset, capable of navigating and profiting from the most challenging and unique exposures.

    Requirements

    • Good First Degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 0-1 years’ cognate experience in the insurance industry.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Capable of assessing complex or unique risks beyond standard underwriting criteria.
    • Competent in evaluating risk exposure and accurately pricing insurance policies.
    • Possess deep knowledge of specific industries (e.g., oil & energy, aviation) and their associated risks.
    • Skilled at drafting clear, precise policy language tailored to individual clients.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
    • Willingness to learn on the job and adapt to evolving risk landscapes.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
