Sourcing and Procurement Lead at Avetium Consult Limited

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies aligned with the companys objectives and budgetary requirements.
• Identify potential suppliers and conduct comprehensive market research to assess their capabilities, pricing, and quality of goods and services.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Draft, review, and finalize procurement contracts and agreements in collaboration with the legal department.
• Continuously evaluate sourcing processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction and optimization without compromising quality or service levels.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and leverage economies of scale through bulk purchasing and strategic partnerships.
• Streamline procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Implement best practices and technological solutions to automate manual tasks and improve procurement cycle times.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive procurement policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring strict compliance with GDPR and NDPR regulations as well as alignment with organizational needs.
• Lead the preparation, issuance, and evaluation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and bids.
• Monitor and track procurement requests and expenditures to ensure budget adherence and data privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support as required.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant data privacy laws and regulations throughout the procurement process.
• Champion data protection and security in all procurement activities, in strict alignment with GDPR and NDPR requirements.
• Manage procurement documentation and records, ensuring that all documents are organized and readily accessible for audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage supplier scorecards, using data to make informed decisions about vendor relationships.
• Assist in the development of procurement-related training programs for employees, promoting awareness of data privacy and compliance.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding procurement activities, compliance, and vendor performance.
• Oversee the development and implementation of supplier diversity initiatives in alignment with the organizations goals.
• Ensure transparency and accountability in all procurement transactions and maintain a high level of ethics and integrity.
• Perform other duties as may be required by the line manager.
