As a Solutions Consultant focused on FSI accounts in the SADC region, you will partner with the Sales team to drive technical outcomes and secure complex cybersecurity deals.
You will leverage your strong technical background to understand customer needs, architect secure solutions, and demonstrate the value of Palo Alto Networks' portfolio.
This remote role requires a proactive approach to sales execution, ensuring our financial services customers in the region adopt best-in-class security architectures to protect their digital way of life.
Key Responsibilities
Partner proactively with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and close cybersecurity opportunities within the FSI sector in the SADC region.
Conduct technical discovery to understand customer business requirements and map them to Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Design and demonstrate complex security architectures that address specific customer challenges and business goals.
Lead and manage Proof of Concept (POC) engagements to valid technical feasibility and demonstrate value.
Collaborate effectively with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction and provide feedback on product direction.
Maintain deep technical expertise on the Palo Alto Networks platform and the competitive cybersecurity landscape.
Simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences while focusing on the details for technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Significant experience in a Pre-Sales, Systems Engineering, or Solutions Consultant role, specifically within the cybersecurity or networking industry.
Deep technical understanding of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection technologies.
Proven experience working with the Financial Services Industry (FSI) and understanding their specific regulatory and security requirements.
Strong knowledge of the SADC market and business landscape.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, or PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).
Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new solutions quickly.
