    Domain Consultant (Presales) - West Africa

    Job Summary

    • As a domain consultant for network security transformation, you provide technical expertise and guidance in customers' network security and zero trust journey. 
    • You will be key in defining technical solutions that secure a customer's key business imperatives. 
    • You evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services that establish Palo Alto Networks as a customer's cybersecurity partner.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with sales teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your assigned specialization
    • Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from practitioner to senior leadership.
    • Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value proposition
    • Responsible for prospective customers and partners' Technical Validation projects based on best practices to ensure technical win in assigned opportunities
    • Architect solutions that will help our customers strengthen and simplify their security posture
    • Document high-level design and key use cases to ensure proper implementation and value realization of Palo Alto Networks solutions
    • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape
    • Responsible for discussing and highlighting product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation

    Qualifications

    • Experience in pre-sales/ sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE
    • Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills
    • Experience in working with customers, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
    • Solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP and BYOD Solutions
    • Advanced knowledge of On-Premise and Cloud-Delivered Network Security Technologies.

    Solutions Consultant

    Job Summary

    • As a Solutions Consultant focused on FSI accounts in the SADC region, you will partner with the Sales team to drive technical outcomes and secure complex cybersecurity deals. 
    • You will leverage your strong technical background to understand customer needs, architect secure solutions, and demonstrate the value of Palo Alto Networks' portfolio. 
    • This remote role requires a proactive approach to sales execution, ensuring our financial services customers in the region adopt best-in-class security architectures to protect their digital way of life.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner proactively with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and close cybersecurity opportunities within the FSI sector in the SADC region.
    • Conduct technical discovery to understand customer business requirements and map them to Palo Alto Networks solutions.
    • Design and demonstrate complex security architectures that address specific customer challenges and business goals.
    • Lead and manage Proof of Concept (POC) engagements to valid technical feasibility and demonstrate value.
    • Collaborate effectively with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction and provide feedback on product direction.
    • Maintain deep technical expertise on the Palo Alto Networks platform and the competitive cybersecurity landscape.
    • Simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences while focusing on the details for technical stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Significant experience in a Pre-Sales, Systems Engineering, or Solutions Consultant role, specifically within the cybersecurity or networking industry.
    • Deep technical understanding of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection technologies.
    • Proven experience working with the Financial Services Industry (FSI) and understanding their specific regulatory and security requirements.
    • Strong knowledge of the SADC market and business landscape.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, or PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).
    • Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new solutions quickly.
