Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive architectural designs.
• Design end-to-end system architecture, including integration with existing systems and third-party platforms.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and business strategies.

Technical Leadership

• Lead technical discussions and decision-making during the design and implementation phases.
• Provide guidance and oversight to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the organisation.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and project managers to ensure clear communication of technical requirements.
• Facilitate discussions with external partners or vendors to align on technical integration requirements.
• Prepare and deliver detailed documentation, including system architecture diagrams, solution overviews, and design specifications.

Quality Assurance and Performance Optimization

• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance audits to ensure solutions meet quality and scalability requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Optimise existing solutions for improved performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications And Skills:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role, with a track record of delivering complex technology solutions.
• Experience with specific Platforms/Technologies, e.g., cloud platforms like AWS/Azure, microservices, API integration, etc.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in designing solutions using modern architectural frameworks.
• Expertise in system integration, data modelling, and API design.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in architecture frameworks or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and cross-border payment systems.
