Job Summary:

The Solar Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems. The role involves both technical and site-based responsibilities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within set quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards.
• Prepare project documentation including drawings, BOQs, reports, and technical submittals.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure proper operation and maintenance.
• Stay updated with the latest solar technologies, standards, and best practices.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in solar PV design, installation, or maintenance.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, inverters, and balance of system components.
• Familiarity with local and international solar standards and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
