We are currently in search of a PHP Engineer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
A basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable microservices.
Develop and maintain backend services in PHP to support legacy systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design and implement solutions to improve user experience, performance and scalability of our applications.
Write and maintain unit tests and documentation for developed code.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in the production environment.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies and best practices in backend development.
Investigate bugs around blockchain edge cases
Specifications
BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
4+ years Proven software development experience in PHP
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
Experience in integration to third-party APIs
Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
Attention to details
Strong communication skills, for effective written and verbal communication
Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
Manage time effectively, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Self starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Organized and can prioritize effectively
