We’re looking for a culturally tuned-in Social Media Manager to lead the digital voice and presence of our artistes and label. This person will be responsible for shaping narratives, building community, and executing creative strategies across social platforms to grow engagement, reach, and fan loyalty.
This role requires someone who lives and breathes music and understands how to turn moments into movements online.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage content calendars for both the label and artiste accounts across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, Facebook, and Threads.
Craft engaging captions, reels, tweets, and copy that align with each artiste’s tone and current project cycle.
Monitor online trends, viral moments, fan behavior, and digital conversations to insert the brand or artiste contextually.
Lead community management: respond to fans, monitor sentiment, and build relationships across platforms.
Collaborate with content teams to plan, produce, and post high-performing visuals (short-form clips, behind-the-scenes, lyric cards, trailers).

Track performance insights weekly, optimize strategies, and share reports with key stakeholders.
Support influencer outreach and digital seeding plans around releases and key campaigns.
Assist in planning digital rollouts for new music, videos, merch, and live events.
Stay on top of platform changes (algorithms, tools, features) and recommend innovative strategies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1–3 years experience in social media management, preferably in the music/entertainment space.
Strong copywriting skills with an ear for tone, nuance, and digital culture.
Proven ability to grow engagement and followers across multiple platforms.
Creative mindset with the ability to ideate and execute culturally relevant content.
Basic design/video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, InShot) are a plus.
Strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
Passion for music, Afrobeats, and storytelling through digital platforms.
