Skeepy pioneered the first Pet HMO in Nigeria. We are a pet care and lifestyle brand designed for the modern pet parent. From healthcare to lifestyle, we are building a connected pet ecosystem and creating services and experiences that make responsible pet parenting easier, smarter, and more accessible.

As we grow, we’re looking for a creative, capable Social Media Intern to support execution across our social channels, bring fresh ideas to life, and help us grow our presence, community, and engagement.

What The Role Is

We’re looking for a hands-on, driven Social Media Intern who knows how to create engaging content and grow pages. We want someone who understands trends, suggests ideas, builds content, and brings it to life.

The person in this role will support our content engine across social platforms, helping us plan, create, and post engaging content that drives awareness, builds trust, and gets people talking.

This is a role for someone who takes initiative, thinks creatively, and is obsessed with figuring out what works on the internet. You’ll help us build a community, increase visibility, and shape how people perceive the Skeepy brand online.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in planning and executing the content calendar
• Create and edit short video content.
• Draft witty, smart, on-brand captions for Instagram, TikTok, X, and more
• Stay on top of trends, audio, formats, and hashtags that match our tone
• Propose content ideas and series we can develop into campaigns
• Schedule and publish content across channels
• Monitor social channels, respond to DMs/comments, and gather feedback
• Track performance metrics and share insights for improvement

What You Should Have

• Strong interest and experience in social media content creation
• Good taste and a sharp eye for what works visually
• Familiarity with social media video editing tools like CapCut, VN, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Rush
• Ability to grow a page and understand what drives engagement
• Excellent writing skills for captions that are sharp, human, and on-brand
• Comfortable with camera-facing content (or willingness to learn)
• Experience using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take feedback
