Overview: We are looking for a Social Media Executive that will manage our social media channels and campaigns to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction

You will work with other cross-functional team members and will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions. Your duties may also include training new employees and maintaining open communication with other departments during the design process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Produce a consistent brand message across all social media channels
• Coordinate social media messages and promote company blog
• Develop engaging social media strategies
• Respond to any mentions over all social media platforms
• Research and analyze social media trends, including social media Ad revenue and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy
• Analyze social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine areas for social media campaign improvement
• Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
• Scheduling copy for release at optimal times
• Plan marketing strategies to drive traffic and engagement

Monitor

• Structure behavioural aspects of potential customers
• Engage followers with regular company updates
• Monitoring social media Metrics and ROI
• Measure the success of every social media campaign
• Maintain a database of all login credentials
• Moderate all user generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
• Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
• Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies

The ideal candidate must have;

• 4+ years of proven work experience in social media marketing
• Excellent writing, editing (Photo, video, text), presentation and communication skills
• Social networking experience and a strong understanding of knowledge of social analytics tools and platforms
• Good understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• In-depth understanding of the processes surrounding the creation and distribution of paid adverts
• A keen eye for details

Nice to haves;

• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, SEO etc.
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
• Flexible and engaging writing style
• Excellent knowledge of research requirements for social media strategy
