Social Media Content Creator at Onyx Beauty Hub

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Content Creator to elevate our online presence.
• You will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content that drives visibility, community engagement, and conversion across all social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and post original content (photos, videos, reels, stories, carousels, etc.) across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
• Shoot and edit hair-related content featuring products, tutorials, customer reviews, influencer collabs, and behind-the-scenes clips.
• Write engaging captions, develop hashtag strategies, and maintain the brand’s tone and aesthetics.
• Manage content calendar and ensure timely delivery and posting of content.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, beauty/hair industry updates, and algorithm changes.
• Monitor insights and performance analytics, making content adjustments as needed.
• Assist with influencer outreach, user-generated content, and engagement activities (e.g. comments, DMs).
• Occasionally support offline content creation at the store or for pop-up/brand events.

Qualifications & Skills

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification with 2 - 3 years of proven experience.
• Proven experience in social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) — portfolio required.
• Strong photo and video editing skills using tools like CapCut, InShot, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.
• Knowledge of trends in beauty, luxury branding, and haircare/fashion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good camera presence (optional, but a plus).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a hybrid setting.
• Creativity, initiative, and strong attention to detail.

Work Schedule & Structure:

• Hybrid Role – 4days onsite, remaining days remote
• Flexibility for occasional weekend content/events (with prior notice).
