Shortlet/Facility Manager at Amy Consulting

Job Overview

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in shortlet and facility management, a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and proficiency in booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and similar software.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the property, ensuring a seamless guest experience, supervising maintenance, liaising with vendors, and devising strategies to increase sales and occupancy. Must be available for immediate resumption and reside in proximity to Ikoyi.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the shortlet property, ensuring it is well-maintained and ready for guest occupancy. - Welcome clients and provide a “home away from home” experience by ensuring comfort, cleanliness, and a positive stay.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth processes and timely communication.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors to ensure the property is in excellent condition at all times.
• Liaise with vendors for services such as cleaning, security, and other property management needs.
• Ensure all property systems, equipment, and amenities are fully functional and well-maintained.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy, increase bookings, and optimize revenue.
• Monitor and manage the property's listing on booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.) and update availability, pricing, and promotions.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, maintenance, and other operational metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in shortlet management or facility management, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and similar software.
• Proven experience in managing properties, supervising maintenance, and liaising with vendors.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available for immediate resumption.
• Proximity to Ikoyi, Lagos is essential.
