Job Description

• The Shipping Manager is responsible for overseeing all shipping, logistics, and port operations to ensure the efficient and timely movement of goods.
• The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective operations, smooth coordination with shipping lines, port authorities, and internal stakeholder, while maintaining high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing shipping schedules and operational strategies
• Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
• Monitoring costs, budgets and profitability
• Enforcing maritime laws (anti-smuggling, anti-piracy, immigration)
• Working closely with agencies e.g NPA, NIMASA, Nigeria Navy etc

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• First degree in BSC / HND in Maritime Security, PFSO, Transport and Logistics, Maritime Studies, SCM, Nautical Science
• A Master’s Degree and a professional qualification would be an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years cognate experience
