This full-time, on-site role based in Lagos is for a Shift Technician.
The Shift Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and performing scheduled and emergency inspections.
Duties include troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal functioning. Collaboration with the DC infrastructure management team to ensure operational efficiency is also a key aspect of this role. Accountable for the state of the plantrooms to best practice.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a related field.
Technical expertise in mechanical systems, electrical systems, and HVAC operations
Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment
Strong focus on safety procedures and adherence to industry regulations
Ability to manage time effectively and work in shifts
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Vocational training or technical certification in a relevant field
Prior experience in facilities management or maintenance is an added advantage
Basic understanding of workplace software and tools is favorable
Previous experience working in a similar building environment/business.
