    Service Technician

    Role Description

    • The Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment within CFAO Mobility Nigeria’s portfolio. This role involves conducting routine inspections, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out corrective actions in line with manufacturer standards and safety procedures. The Service Technician will work closely with the service team to ensure timely completion of work orders, accurate documentation of services performed, and proper use of tools and equipment. The role also includes interacting with customers to explain findings, provide technical guidance on vehicle care, and support a positive service experience. Continuous learning on new models, service bulletins, and technical updates is expected to maintain high-quality service delivery.

    Qualifications

    • Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to perform routine servicing and complex mechanical work on vehicles and equipment.
    • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Maintenance, including diagnosing faults, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
    • Experience in Field Service, with the capability to work at different service outlets or customer locations when required.
    • Solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and support a positive customer experience.
    • Relevant technical certification or diploma in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience working with passenger cars, commercial vehicles, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
    • Knowledge of diagnostic tools, service manuals, and manufacturer service procedures.
    • Ability to follow safety standards, work accurately under time constraints, and collaborate effectively within a service team.
