Senior Tax Accountant at Infytel Communications

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to manage and oversee tax compliance, planning, and reporting for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with finance and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file accurate tax returns (corporate, withholding, VAT, PAYE, and other applicable taxes)
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations and deadlines
• Manage tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with tax authorities
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax risk and optimize savings
• Review financial statements and transactions for tax implications
• Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management on potential impacts
• Support month-end and year-end financial close from a tax perspective
• Mentor and review work of junior tax or accounting staff
• Collaborate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAN is required
• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive tax accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and reporting standards
• Experience handling tax audits and regulatory reviews
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft
