    Senior Supervisor (Operations / Maintenance / Contract Engineer)

    Academics

    • Bachelors’ degree

    Start Date

    Age

    • < 50 years

    Work Experience

    • 6 to 8 years working as a Pipeline field operations/maintenance support Technician or 10 years in materials procurements and inventory management to support
    • pipeline operations in an oil and gas company.
    • Proficient in SAP and supply chain systems, with strong coordination and reporting skills.
    • Supervised at least 5 inservice Pipeline Repairs spanning Land, Swamp and
    • Offshore Terrain

    Key Interfaces:

    • Pipeline RoW, SOC/Security, HSE team, Community Relations
    • Skills (Added advantage)
    • Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS) and process documents.
    • Skill level knowledge in running/managing in permit systems.
    • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Excel,
    • PowerPoint, and Word)
    • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
    • Problemsolving and good analytical skills.
    • SelfMotivated and perform under minimal supervision.
    • Experience in leading and supervising others in field tasks.
    • Experience in site project supervision and commissioning.

    Soft Skills

    • Ability to understand and perform Pipeline operations/maintenance
    • Ability to understand unit of various variables i.e., pressure, volume, flowrate etc.
    • Onsite Hazards identification and Risk assessment capability.
    • Flexibility and adaptability
    • Problemsolving and good analytical skills.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • He/she will be responsible for the following:
    • Lead a team of field personnel (and vendors) to deliver simple and complex activities
    • at work site
    • Manage the shutdown permit and isolation management process.
    • Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
    • Report and close out UA/UC.
    • Serves as PTW signatory.
    • Apply the HSSE policy, legislations applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
    • Adhere to operational procedures.
    • Monitor, control and record production rates and performance.
    • Startup and commissioning of facilities.
    • Participate in Daily notification and YTT review meeting
    • Ensure optimized chemical injection rates are followed as advised.
    • Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions
    • Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
    • Supervise preparation of equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining,
    • steaming, and other procedures as required.
    • Followup Procurement for ordered spares and materials until delivery.
    • Raise and achieve budgetary approval for procurement of materials and services.
    • To enable the endtoend process of material purchasing using Companies Material
    • Management “ways of working” and manage the RequisitiontoPay (RtP) Process.
