Senior Product Manager at Viisaus Technology Ltd

Job Summary

• The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end strategy, design, and delivery of complex digital transformation initiatives for public and private sector clients. The individual is responsible for stakeholder engagement, product visioning, agile team leadership, and aligning delivery with strategic business goals across multi-disciplinary teams.

As Senior Product Manager, your responsibilities will be to:

• Define and drive the end-to-end digital product lifecycle, from discovery through MVP launch to iterative scale-up, ensuring measurable impact across government or enterprise services
• Bridge client vision with technical execution, translating strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps, user stories, and KPIs
• Facilitate co-creation and agile ceremonies, while ensuring consistent stakeholder alignment and team velocity
• Support adoption of product thinking within client organisations through workshops, demos, and product governance structures
• Produce executive-ready updates: OKRs, burndown, benefits tracking, and change impacts
• Ensure the product meets business value, user needs, and Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA)-compliant data standards as well as other relevant global protection acts
• Manage scope, risks, dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of product releases
• Mentor junior product managers and contribute to team-wide product practice maturity

You’d be a good fit if you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s/MBA is a plus)
• Professional certifications in Agile, Scrum, Product Management are desirable
• 7+ years work experience, ideally in consulting, GovTech, civic-tech, or digital transformation environments, with at least 2 years in a product leadership role
• Experience delivering MVPs, iterative releases, and scaling products
• Comfort working in ambiguity and delivering value in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Required Skills / Competencies:

• Strong product strategy and roadmap development
• Human-Centered Design (HCD) and service design facilitation
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/Lean) and backlog management
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication (including proposal writing)
• Business process analysis and use-case documentation
• Data-driven decision making and prioritisation
• Familiarity with Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) (as well as other relevant global protection acts) /data governance and compliance frameworks
