Senior Procurement Manager at Western Development Company Limited (WDCL)

We are looking for a proactive and commercially savvy Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for WDCL. This role is critical to ensuring timely acquisition of high-quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and company goals.
• Lead sourcing, vendor qualification, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budget controls, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate procurement planning with project teams, engineering, and warehouse/logistics units.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues relating to quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track procurement KPIs and generate regular reports for executive management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or CIPS certification is an advantage).
• Minimum of 7–10 years procurement experience in oil & gas, EPC, or industrial projects.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
• In-depth understanding of local and international supply chains.
• Must reside in Lagos (Island) or have a concrete relocation plan.
