JOB DESCRIPTION:

To provide the support needed to drive and implement the PM strategy designed by the Head of PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across different asset classes with a bid to
• increasing the value of client's assets
• Portfolio construction, monitoring, rebalancing and evaluation in line with regulatory guidelines and client objectives & constraints
• Keep track of global, macro and market trends that will affect the various types of investments and will impact the value of client's investments
• Develop new products to meet customer needs and drive AUM growth
• Actively manage client investments to generate superior returns
• Generate quarterly reports which will show client's investment values, performances and trends
• Ensure that all steps in the Portfolio Management process are followed
• Periodically monitor performance of investment assets held by the portfolio across different asset classes
• Periodically review trading activities across different asset classes for all managed accounts
• Create, update and maintain presentations, pitch materials and execution related documents to support client service and fundraising efforts
• Supervise analyst with reporting tasks
• Manage other activities as delegated by Manager

GENERAL KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Achieve 100% of annual revenue target
• Ensure prompt preparation of board and management reports on a quarterly basis
• Ensure that client portfolios outperform reporting benchmarks
• Ensure 2 new products are developed and launched annually

Qualifications

Education:

• First degree in finance/economics/engineering/applied sciences
• MSc/MBA

Experience:

• (NYSC completed) 5-10years of investment management experience
• License SEC Sponsored Individual will be an added advantage.
• Certification: Relevant certifications relating to the job e.g. CFA, CIS, Certified wealth management professional, ACCA
• Degree: First class and second class upper only
