    Senior Membership Manager

    The Senior Membership Manager is a key role in the enrolment of new members for the Club to generate high revenue. Strong relationship management to increase and retain membership in the club. Constant club presence. Represent the club in its relationships with numerous external constituencies. The Senior Membership and Events Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the club\'s reputation, attracting new members, and ensuring a high level of member satisfaction.

    The position is directly responsible for revenue generation through member recruitment and retention strategies.

    The incumbent is charged with creating a robust membership base for the Club.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategic

    • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and action plan to achieve membership sales targets. Identify target markets, analyze market trends, and devise effective sales techniques to maximize membership growth.
    • Membership management: Respond to member inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain members.
    • Foster strong relationships with club members, understanding their preferences, interests, and needs.
    • Proactively gather feedback from members to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance member satisfaction.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of events and activities for members, including social gatherings, themed parties, workshops, seminars, and other special events.

    Operational

    Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company\'s customer base. 

    • Networking, attending industry events, and negotiating joining with potential clients New membership sales process and application. 
    • Ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
    • Maintain a comprehensive database of members interests and preferences in order to curate events to suit their needs.
    • Maintain a comprehensive member database, ensuring all records are up to date and accurate.

    Events and Activities:

    • Arrange a quarterly motivating event for members social connection and retention
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to secure venues, vendors, and necessary resources for events.
    • Ensure financial viability of all events.
    • Coordinate event logistics, including set-up, staffing, registration, catering, audio-visual requirements, and post-event evaluations.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the member experience by introducing innovative and engaging events and activities.

    Member Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for members, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing personalized assistance when required.
    • Respond to member inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
    • Regularly communicate with members through various channels, including newsletters, emails, and social media platforms, to keep them informed about upcoming events and club updates.

    Marketing and Promotion:

    • Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders (marketing communications experts etc) to develop and implement effective strategies to attract new members, utilizing both online and offline channels.
    • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the club and expand the membership base.
    • Ensure the website and social media pages actively reflect the profile of the club. 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field, MBA is an added advantage.
    • 5 years proven experience in sales and relationship management with HNIs, event planning, or a similar role within the hospitality or private club industry.

    Must have skills

    • Ability to Build relationship and interact effectively with all stakeholders.
    • Excellent Communication Skills and interpersonal skills
    • Strong event curation and management skills
    • Attention to detail, time management with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and experiences to members.
    • Proficient in using MS Office and other relevant tools.
    • Knowledge of private club industry, including trends and best practices in membership management and event planning
    • Leadership/Supervisory
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic and fast – paced environment.
    • Effective Team management – ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
