Senior Manager, Security at Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Security to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of robust security strategies that protect personnel, assets, facilities, and operations across all manufacturing plants on site. This role ensures compliance with corporate policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements, and HSE standards, while fostering a culture of vigilance and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead and manage the security team to ensure full coverage across all shifts and facilities.
• Oversee access control, ID card issuance, and visitor management protocols.
• Monitor and maintain CCTV systems and coordinate physical security checks.
• Supervise vehicle entry and exit to prevent unauthorized access and loss.
• Identify and assess potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks across the site.
• Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with law enforcement and external agencies on security matters when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP, and HSE standards.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and presenting security documentation.
• Develop and test emergency response and evacuation plans regularly.
• Organize training sessions and awareness campaigns for staff and contractors on security procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent are an added advantage.
• Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in industrial security management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Strong leadership, analytical, and crisis management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of modern physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, biometrics).
• Familiarity with GMP, HSE, and regulatory standards in pharmaceutical environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including incident and risk report writing.
